I think the best advertising is smart, simple, and fun—it makes someone smile. That’s the stuff people pay attention to, and that’s the stuff I like to do.
I’m a creative professional with tons of experience in consumer marketing, along with some in the healthcare world. Highly conceptual—skilled in branding and concepting, but equally at home applying a critical eye to every last piece of digital display or managing a team.
Substantial experience with all forms, from broadcast TV and old school radio, to social activations and digital anything. I've helped run creative departments and truly enjoy managing and mentoring young writers, but I’m equally at home piloting my own keyboard toward a good idea.
I’m currently open to any and all freelance opportunities, and also the right full-time position.

RECOGNITION
I was the mascot for my high school senior class—beat the Powerpuff Girls in a landslide.
I've won effies and obies and addys and things and have written two Super Bowl spots. That Ideacast spot was shortlisted at Cannes.
But I also won the Advertising Excellence Award, in recognition of outstanding overall readership as compared to all other advertisements appearing in Professional Roofing. What a time to be alive.
RANDOM STUFF YOU MAY OR MAY NOT FIND INTERESTING ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I started in the mailroom, just like Michael J. Fox.
I’m mostly right-handed, but sometimes left.
I’ve gotta be the only writer who can’t type home row.
I've got a hole in one to my name—8-iron from 176.
I was ejected from a coed intramural kickball game.
Also, I once threw out a first pitch at a minor league baseball game and almost killed a few kindergarteners in the process. Ask me about it sometime.
